ALG picks and why Apex is becoming boring because of it

I have been watching a lot of ALGS and I notice there is on trend. It’s the same 6 characters on every team. Gibby Valk ash bloodhound wraith and horizon. You will sometimes see a caustic or a lob...

@Voidraker JayBiebs takes into account a lot of things when balancing legends unlike the previous guy who made drastic changes for the sake of change (will never forget nerfing to the ground Caustic, Pathfinder, and Wattson) so it’s not that easy. There’s pick rate, win rate, and being meta in the ALGS are some of those factors. What I don’t understand though is the complete neglect for Lifeline for multiple seasons now but from the leaks, they might have a soft rework on the way.

Some of the community suggestions might have been placed for future legends like that Pathfinder zoom-in passive that was suggested.

@Cheese9ManLifeline gets ignored because her pick rate it still top 6 or so overall. The lifeline mains will never give up. lol

What I want to do is go back to the beginning of the game and swap the latest legends for the originals and then release the originals. I bet the newer ones pick rates would be higher overall because people feel this loyalty to certain charactwrs.

@hayhor I think the majority of new players pick Lifeline because the tutorial is with her lol.😃

  Gibralter is the perfect example of how difficult it must be to approach balance in a game like this. Close to 100% pick rate in competitive, yet endless cries for a buff from the lower tiers of play.

    @pandareno1999 Nailed it. Apex isn't one game. It's two and which one you're playing depends on whether you're a top 5% player or whether you're a normal human being. Grindy aimbotters can have their game, whichever meta they choose. The game I play has absolutely nothing to do with what ALGS does, and while I complain endlessly about legend imbalances, I'm sure my balance ideas would be laughed at by the most competitive players.
