Another Forge bait and switch?? STFO trailer speculation/discussion
Before you proceed, this post contains some leaks for the possible legend for S12. This thread will probably age like milk when the trailer comes out. LMAO.
As most of you already know, from some of the leaks, Mad Maggie will be the next legend but some think that they might pull another Forge on us. This “new” team of Respawn devs have been good at hiding information from dataminers recently compared to past seasons where a lot of the data are in the files already for the upcoming season.
Respawn recently announced a new Stories from the Outlands trailer tomorrow (for most of you) and it will be 3 minutes and 23 seconds. Here’s the post:
Who is this guy? The only logo we see is the apex/Syndicate logo so he probably works for them. What’s interesting is the tags for this youtube video. I’ve highlighted some notable tags from the YT video.
Judgement: This might be the title of the STFO trailer since last thing we know about Maggie was she was imprisoned by the Syndicate in the comics according to Wattson. We might see Maggie on trial and then trying to escape hence the teaser in storm point.
Apex Legends Defiance: This is most probably the title of season 12. The leaked battlepass title and the Ash battle pass skin has the name “Rebel Bikers” so Defiance would fit right in.

Mad Maggie: Now this is where the speculation really starts. The last STFO where the name of the legend is outright placed in the tags was the STFO for season 4 and we all know what happened in that video.
Apex’s twitter account has been pumping out teasers (https://twitter.com/playapex/status/1484997886278471680?s=21) in the form of Lisa Stone’s investigate journalism on the Syndicate. When was the last time we saw Lisa Stone? Yup in the same video where Forge was murdered!
Summary of Lisa Stone’s “investigations”
- She said that the Syndicate (organizers of the Apex Games) have not been good at taking care of the legends/games.
- Said that the syndicate let the spread of that growing plant virus in Olympus.
- DUARDO SILVA (father of Octane) will save the Apex games from the Syndicate.
CheeseMan speculation
In the video, entitled Judgement, we’ll see Maggie on trial in front of the Syndicate judge/council. One of the council is the guy in the thumbnail of the STFO video where he will sentence Maggie into life imprisonment. While being escorted to prison, Salvo (Maggie’s private army and who blew up KC in S8) busts Maggie out and gets her a ship. Now we see what happened in the teasers where she crashed. Maggie crashed in SP but with that phase technology, she actually lands in Olympus (the file name for the phase effects on her ship has the name OLYMPUS).
Duardo Silva will successfully take over the apex games from BLISK and the Syndicate. By doing this, now they can make this character a playabale legend with a lore of trying to win back the apex games from Silva Pharmaceuticals, Blisk.
From this season 6 leak 2 years ago, it’s only Blisk and Husaria that’s left to come out. Ash came out already, bottom left after the dummy is Valk, then Fuse, Pariah (Seer), then Husaria which might be Maggie.
Husaria (rumored to be Maggie and also has the dread locks) - She equips a shotgun ammo in her legs and damages enemies when she kicks down a door. She also has a flash bang (season 2 description)
