@Eshshshss There are some quite funny footage/montages on youtube dedicated to various players reactions to the ridiculousness of what they received upon opening various chests in the game. But the biggest joke of it is that many of us have experienced the same thing either 3 sniper stock,3 back packs,3 thermite grenades etc in the same chest it just makes the game a bit of a mockery.I've experienced scenarios in the game (where similar occurances can be seen in these footahes) where upon opening various chests nothing appears until 2,3 or 4 seconds later so whether that's game lag or some game algorithm dictating/re-arranging what loot you should be getting ( or as some cynics may say is rigging the game against you).
On a separate note though if anyone (many of us!) thought Apex servers can be temperamental & quite bad at times try playing Fifa 22 against other players online what an absolute disgrace the servers are.High ping issues, random slow-down & sped-up gameplay(like out of an episode of The Flash).game freezing, disconnects. But ultimately it's another EA game so I guess it's to be expected.

Maybe we have reached the ultimate capacity of "the cloud" 🙂 finally, the internet can't keep up with the demand.
Get ready to store your pictures on memory cards / CDs instead of Instagram or cloud storage :P

@Eshshshss The problem is with the infrastructure, it's stupid to yell at the servers because of lag / high ping. It is well known that the internet is not optimized for realtime applications and that the network hardware technology is 10-20 years behind the demand.
Cloud storage is an issue as much as the traffic it creates. Streaming and remote work / meetings are the biggest congestion makers right now.
- Eshshshss4 years agoSeasoned Ace@DoYaSeeMe if you say so, I have not much knowledge in this fields, just logically thinking that there should be a limit. As you said a lot of "extra" traffic has appeared during COVID years and it is no surprise to me if it is affecting games like Apex as well.
And honestly I don't have an issue with servers, more annoying are the players who intentionally use software to disrupt the connection and make them laggy for others no to mention ones who manage to crash the whole loby if killed 🙂 - 4 years ago@Eshshshss It's not just me saying it:

Thanks for sharing though, I am sure for people who want to dig into this piece of info it will be very useful and educational!
