@DarthValtrex I have made a post to suggest it to be only obtained in later rounds. A cost of 850 I feel would help balance it out.
@E9ine_AC I think the entire crafting system is going to need adjustments. The way abilities work in that mode just does not make sense. Some legends have really strong passives and tactical so they don't need to purchase their ult. That allows them to spend all their crafting mats on weapons. While other legends sort of require their ult.
Some guns really require attachments to be viable while others don't.
It's a new system and mode entirely, I'm not worried about it at all. They'll be reviewing the data from the mode and making adjustments to it as required.
- @DarthValtrex What you mention about abilities in arenas is a huge issue. I feel like I cant run caustic in the mode because he is gigantic and his tactical is useless until you get the prime spot, which is never.
- @hayhor I have actually not seen a single caustic in any of my games in arena. Sad to because end game he could become very vital on the last ring. but where he stands before final rings is another story. Just no use for his abilities as at that point most are mid/long range fighting till round 3 or higher.
- @E9ine_AC Yeah I kind of feel that way about Wattson she's not terrible but the shield regen passive is just to slow, fences have little use and the interceptor tower is expensive to get/use. Her ult definitely has a huge impact though.
I think Crypto and Loba are probably the two worst legends for the mode.
- @hayhor Agreed 100%, I imagine we'll see adjustments to the cost of ults for certain legends to try and balance the mode out in the future.
I'm not entirely against the idea of having modes where other legends are meta. Sort of gives those legends a place you know?
