And that's the thing there too. No need to hot drop to get good. If you play any FPS and are decent at it, you are good regardless. The only real thing you need to learn from then on is the legend's ultimates and tacticals. Alongside the map. But there is a rarity in having great players on your team. You're most likely against them while you have the rejects.
I wouldn't say the hardest game. More so the people you are teamed with make it hard. I feel like I have better teammates on the losing side of a Battlefield game.
I do nto believe hot drop provide you with any good learning. As you said, it is a gamble.
