Apex Coins spent in Store instead of Legend Tokens

I play Apex Legends on PS4.

Today I made a purchase in the game stpre for the Bangalore recolor skin...but I was on my controller and I guess I was in a hurry, so I accidentally clicked use Apex Coins (1800!) instead of Legend Coins (200,000+).

I spent an HOUR with "live chat" and the EA rep said they cannot help reverse purchases in an EA game because...it's an EA game and they don't have access...?? The rep said only developers have access to in-game content. That seems ridiculous to me.

Anyone else have this issue? I just want a simple refund of the purchase so I can do it again with the correct currency. Yes, I rushed and slipped...but c'mon, this isn't rocket science...
