@ZulkiersI actually found that when trying to look up what game you were talking about. Looks more of a direct competitor to Warzone? It started off as a mobile game?
Is it any good?
I don't think anything directly competes with Apex at the moment, but that could always change. I don't think that really matters though, they're losing players as it is. This new season didn't do much for bringing players back either. It's unfortunate, because I think there was a lot of good changes this season.
Apex desperately needs to carve out more space for casuals and newcomers. The game is just brutal at the moment. If I had just started playing now, I'm not sure if I would have stuck it out.
As a newer player on a 100+ game loss streak (last match I won was my 87th match played and now I’m at 193 matches played) I’m not really motivated to even log into the game at this point I just feel like fodder for the other players, esp when I play warzone and win 1 in like 15 or 20 matches and currently hold a 22% win rate on Fortnite zero build, feels like this games match making is a problem.

Too many cheaters.
It's the cheaters killing Apex.
If anyone says this game is thriving, they obviously use cheats.
This game is over 50% undetected cheats, but it's obvious they are cheating.
EA needs to stop releasing cosmetics and content, shut the game down, and fix it, then reactivate it with a system like Riot Games has to keep out the cheaters. That way they can watch the cheaters and the cheat makers won't be able to as easily make the cheat undetected anymore.
Then they'll have a similar ratio to Riot, under 5%, and we will be saved, and Apex will be able to Thrive once more, and EA will make at least 10 times what they are making now, maybe more.- Asmodeus5669 months agoHero+

Nice statement, words are wind, where is your proof?
Apex is not doing it's best, that I agree on. Could they do more versus cheaters I hope so.

@Asmodeus566The amount of xim and hardware-macro users is through the roof. I get why @Zulkiers is talking 50% , bcs its def way more than those 100K users they ban every month ... but i also get why Respawn focuses more on the Linux side :
a) much easier to pull the plug on that one
b) banning those Linux cheaters doesnt hurt the revenue much, but can be used to advertise an anticheat success.
By not banning those cheat devices from the start, they are now in a position where they simply cant (we all know by now that controller players are the cash cow for Respawn) ...
It would hurt the revenue even more, so they just swep it under the rug ... pretty much like they did with the overpowered aim assist : deny its even a thing until you cant hide it anymore
