So everybody online is on the "APEX IS DEAD!!!" bandwagon. Per the Steam charts, there is short term fluctuation in player count but long term growth. Feels like the stock market to me where everybody freaks out about short term changes. A quick check of the Origin player count had it at about 300k as I write this. What are console player counts?Is the death of Apex fake news to you? I really think it is just a way to try & get Respawn's attention about the long standing issues that the community has been complaining about for years.

Dead isn’t 13th most watched game on Twitch. But 13th is also a far cry from 5th which it was before Respawn kicked itself in the face with their Ranked changes.
I used to like ranked, I haven’t played it in about 2 seasons now. Apex went casual for me. There just aren’t great options out there right now, I loaded a Overwatch 2, its better but still a pile of meh

"Apex is dead" is usually best translated as "Apex is dead to me." Yes, there a lot of content creators who, after three years, are moving on to other things. To which I say, "Goodbye and don't let the door hit you in the butt. And please take some of the kids and cheaters with you when you go. Have a nice day."

Whatever good it is that Respawn thinks the streamers do for this game, they do just as much damage in other ways. Maybe more.

Could it be better, yes.
Question is, how long am I willing to wait before I
move on. I’m at the tipping point, where it seems EA and Respawn just keeps dropping the ball pushing me in one direction.
My YT feed used to be plastered with Apex vids, for a few months now, they’ve been far in between.
There’s always going to be new players picking up Apex, but that can only last for so long, especially when all the free advertisement is being dropped by influencers.
On that note, pros utilizing controllers only to prove a point so they can get nerfed, doesn’t sit well with me, especially when Respawn welcomes the feedback with opened arms….seems the pro’s feedback is all they welcome as of late.

Dead? No. Thriving like it used to? No.

Season 16 SHOULD be big for Apex for a couple of reasons.
1. Other games’ updates is stale like the announcement of Overwatch not releasing a new hero next season and etc.
2. It’s Apex’s anniversary event which is usually its best season of the year.
3. If you’ve read my leaks posts about season 16, it has big changes coming.

If Respawn fumbles the season again, then it’s their fault. Season 15 is probably one of the worst season of Apex out there. Some of the people in this forum have the mindset of toxic positivity probably because this is the only game they play and they’re too afraid that the game might go downhill. Pointing out Respawn‘s mistakes is good for the game for it to get better.
PS Removing thematic events so non-paying players get less skins for free and having THREE COLLECTION EVENTS in one season. What does that say about the game?

@Cheese9Man With Medina insinuating he’s going to be the Dev everyone loves in S16, I can only associate such love and praise if solos becomes a thing, cause money grabbing events, and heirloom recolors (probably not free) just aren’t it for me lol
