Apex is the runt of the litter
CoD Warzone released on March 10.
Nearly 2 months after release, it still has huge concurrent playerbase and daily viewcounts on twitch upwards of 200K. It's safe to say that Warzone has proved the naysayers wrong who said the game would be dead in 2 weeks give or take, myself included.
Warzone quickly added solo's, had an alternative mode on launch, and Infinity Ward didn't throw feedback on the game in the trash, they made it so you can carry 8 shieldplates instead of the previous cap of 5, etc.
It shows what it can do for a game when they take the concerns from players to heart.
The result is clear, a battle royale isn't doomed to die after it's first hype month, why can't Respawn well over a year after launch just take that for what it is?
Apex has turned into the runt of the litter, despite being very obviously a superior game to FN and Warzone in key aspects, but suffers from a desperate adherence to a largely failing design philosophy, BR players aren't MOBA players, and it's time to add solo's and just use the Dummies from the LTM, it's a game, where there's a will there's a way.
Why can't respawn just be more like every other studio?
