Interesting ideas for sure, but really Crypto is just fine as is. He has been my main for most of season 3. Playing public games suck you don’t ever get to really use his drone. Other than that I have had at least 50 wins this season just on drone play in final fights. Whether it was emp removing traps or good position of drone to highlight enemies in final circle. 
If people want to play him fine if not fine too there are plenty of legends to choose from. I cringe in public matches when someone else picks him because it usually is the same thing seconds after landing he is in drone hovering around. Kind of hard to squad gear up that way.

    @mastiffslinger That's true. But I think that if they dim the glow of the drone and decrease the sound slightly, then Crypto would be nicer. A cool concept would be to allow the drone to hack enemy traps. This would be pretty difficult to do anyway, but imagine being able to turn the enemy's weapon against them. He's a hacker but doesn't actively hack, like I said. Idk. I feel like he's a decent legend but is missing something crucial to his character
