Apex legends abandon penalty
Can yall please get rid of this stupid thing? It sucks when your team abandons you and I'm waiting for nothing.

@Gfjdkdjxjdkfi For me it's the complete opposite.. I rarely have people leave the banner, if they do it's because they are not going to be able to pick it up. Occasionally people will troll like you suggest but it's rare.
How ever in Season 2, non-ranked was nearly unplayable with randoms. More than half the rounds I played with randoms would have people join and leave due to friend invites. I would say more than 80% of matches with randoms would start with 3 players but with in 3 minutes we were down 2 players or less.
The wait for them to recover your banner is not that bad, it's a whole 1 minute. After your banner recovery expires I think you should be able to leave the round w/o a penalty. But if your banner is still technically recoverable and you leave you should get the penalty.
There are times in which both my squad mates get downed. I know I won't be able to take both.. So I run for about 15 seconds away from the fight, toss some grenades, to draw the team away from the death boxes. I then circle back grab the banners and run. If you're watching me you might assume I'm trolling or not going to try and recover the banner but I will try most of the time.

I just uninstalled this game, 3rd time in a row my whole squad was dead and I still get penalty for leaving, not to mention everytime I die I have to watch * 30 minute match, because at diamond/predator you rarely get revived. Good luck.
- @HAAHAAHHAHAAHA If your whole squad was dead there is no penalty to leave the match. So I'm not sure what you're complaining about. Perhaps there is a problem on the server you're playing, but give respawn a chance to fix it and make the leave penalty function properly.
Last night a friend and I were playing with randoms we had at least 3 rounds in which the random ended up dead. We could have respawned him and he would have got ALL of his loot back including some upgrades from the team we took out. But... the random rage quit as soon as he/she was downed and left the match.
It was even more frustrating for us because made it to the top 2 and were able to knock 2 of the final team but could not take out the third. If they had been there, even just as a sponge for bullets we would have won.- @DarthValtrex I already made a video and posted it in support. My whole squad was dead and I was given penalty nonetheless. Anyway that's about it for me, not gonna stress myself over a game I should enjoy, have fun.

yeah but when you join a lobby and the 3rd person is afk or on the other side of the Map and wont respawn or revive you, it kinda kills any want to play the game.
