Let's cool it with the personal attacks here. I get this is a controversial topic. Everyone isn't going to agree on something like an abandon penalty, and that's OK. People can have different opinions and discuss how they feel about this, but we need to make sure we're doing so without pointing fingers and insulting one another or the devs. If it continues I'll have to lock this thread.

If he has picked up your banner and he doesn't make the effort to deliver it to any beacon then i've heard that you can leave after 2,5min but has anyone tested it? I'm not sure about this.@SpyrosFPS No, you can not leave if they not bring it to beacon. I made it today and got banned. I have now like more than 400 minutes. So they add more minutes to your bann if you leave game again. It is just stupid idea. [Admin - Removed]
I just don't understand, why i must sit there with team of campers, who just not move and always sit till the end wher only 2 squad left and then they just die instantly. Like waiting more than 20 boring minutes just to die in the end. What a horrible punishment. But if you leave your bann expands, what a beautiful idea.

I'm not sure about this.it takes two min if your knocked and not thirsted. it's one min when knocked and another min when waiting for your banner timer to run out.
it's not 5 min that I can assure you.
I tested this out with my lap top stopwatch and made my self land in a heavy populated area Train station.
And stood there until knocked then started my timer it was 1 min and then reset it and did the the grab banner timer it was 58 sec's, I added 2 secs because I had to reset my timer.

I mean 2,5 min after your banner is green Deliver to Beacon and then leave.
You haven't tested this.
It's a situation where they pick up your banner but they don't respawn you for whatever reason... or there isn't any respawn beacon left on the map.

you guys need to figure out someone abandoning because of trying to get points or someone that had a situation they had to drop. Or a afk guy not dropping and they leave the game and troll you before . 89 minutes plus minus 48 points.. what a JOKE> you need to worry about more of the soft hackers just like shroud said than anything else. Its why many arent playing apex. Dizzy, Ace is done as he said after this comp, shroud, formal, courage, dr.d i mean the list goes on and people that dont drop to avoid RP but have a legit reason or situation get docked 48 pts and 89 MINUTES .. disgusting man.
to top it off, you block the person from even playing regular apex.. what abuse of power man. We make you/EA your money. Nail the hackers and abusers but make sure you balance it out. I will not spend a dime on this game now, what a joke. I'm seeing people band for 360 hours and 24 hours after leaving the main menu? Its ok, me and the guys i was playing with will play another game maybe its why apex is now barely getting 15k viewing on twitch. Its great you banned actual people hacking in predator but all you did was set parameters one way with no room for leaving for reasons other than RP saving. SMH. ROE here we come.
- @EA_Kent I understand the idea about the abandon penalty. But comparing to other games like league of legends and Counter Strike Gobal Offensive, they will reset the penalty when the player played more than a number of games or over a centain of time(for csgo, its a week). My last abandon was 2 months ago, and now I got 12 hours in game ban. I think this accumulate system need to change a bit.
