Apex legends Caustic nerf

@matzesingt  Throwing traps in peoples faces has nothing to do with the issue at hand, that's stupidity and I'm really not sure why you would think that's the issue....unless of course you don't actually play caustic and are failing to see the point lol.

You can justify any decision with it, no matter how it affects balance.
"You just can't aim" is a fallacy and does not consider anything that affects the outcome of a fight that isn't aim itself, which is only one factor by itself among a dozen.

But if you wanna repeat your one and only easily dismissible point over and over again hoping it'd make it valid somehow then be my guest.

We don't ask much, we only ask to KEEP the original way to disable the trap, shoot the bottom of the barrel, that's it.

Is that too much to ask ??

You can AIM the bottom right, it's not that hard !

That's EXACTLY problem, you don't need to aim to win the battle with Caustic anymore.

Everything is SO HUGE, his trap is HUGE, Caustic is HUGE, you can close your eyes, you can kill him easily.

@matzesingt That equates to about 2 extra bullets depending on the weapon used. It's not an advantage lol.

Since you're so good in aiming, I don't see the reason you can't shoot the bottom of the barell, right ?

We should NOT change the mechanic of the trap regardless who shooting it (caustic or enemy).

    - Bottom : Disable

    - Top       : Trigger

The only change with this patch, you can disable it early before it fully deployed.

So I honestly think this's a serious bug that must be fixed.

I don't have one but we can easily test in Firing Range with friends.

The exact terminology in the patch notes is as follows:

Caustic

• Enemies can cancel Caustic’s barrel by shooting it before it is fully inflated.

That to me implies it CAN be shot anywhere whilst inflating to be disabled,so I don't think it's a bug at all.

However the inflation time is extremely slow, making the nerf a serious problem for caustic lol.

This in itself I could have lived with, it's inability to throw traps through windows that's bugging me lol.

"It" implied shooting "the bottom"

How can they rever it to the whole barrel ?? Doesn't make sense. 

Probably the Dev and QA didn't clarify so they made the mistake.

Unfortunately not, anywhere on the canister free game until it inflates, stupid.
