Apex packs are too costly !!

I have zero love for games companies that try milk players like that and don't invest any of that money into making their games better or more enjoyable.

@Chaddi-Me-Haddi my philosophy for anything regarding purchases is that if it's in a bundle and can't be purchased separately, it's immediately a scam and you probably shouldn't buy it. 

They've learned nothing regarding pricing from the Iron Crown event. Same issue, different shoes, no one back then was really complaining about 7 dollar loot boxes. Rather, the real issue was the fact you couldn't purchase things individually.

They are a straight rip off.

The problem is Respawn.  

The problem is also Fortnite, and the Freemium model.

Somehow, people actually believe a Batman skin or a Catwoman skin is worth $40.  It isn't.  It isn't even if $40 means nothing to you.  

Skins should maybe cost $5.  

But what happens is we all know that skins are priced at what company's think that they can get for them, not what they cost, and certainly not what they would even fetch a big profit at.  You can sell skins for $5 and make scads of money.  But...not as much as if you be greedy!  Then you can make more!

It's a consumer problem too.  How many people out there do you see that have to purchase stuff every single event?  It's too many by far.  The excuses roll in like 'I wanna support the company' and 'but movies cost less' and 'they need it to survive.

None of that, not one of those reasons above, is anything close to a good enough reason.  The company doesn't NEED to sell you $20 skins to survive.  They need to sell you $5 or less skins to survive.

There is a silver lining though:  Money is being taken from those who don't deserve it.  In that regard, Respawn and Fortnite are providing a service, and I believe they should up their price to $200 a skin, otherwise they have no balls.

Yeah it's pretty obvious the shop only exists to scam players out of money. However the game is only free because of the shop. If the existence of $20 skins (that you don't need to buy) is the cost for me to play a game for free then fine.

Respawn makes money and players get a free game where they don't have to pay to be competitive.

You want it, you don’t need it. Due to ppl saying they need a certain skin or item that grants no additional benefit except aesthetically pleasing, is why prices for skins go up the wahoo xD
