Apex ranked lag

I've been having issues with ranked matches lagging lately, it started when I went to platinum and now I can't pay a single game without a extremely terrible lag. What can I do to fix this?

Is it possible to switch to a wired connection or is your router too far away? If it's too far, is there another TV or monitor you could move to that can use a wire? I'd just like to find out if this is due to being wireless or if it's something else.

The router and the Xbox sit side by side, I've tested the connection on the Xbox and it's running 68+ mbps

Can you use a wired since they are right next to each other? Speed isn't the issue. Wireless is unstable regardless of the speed. Can you switch to a wire and do a full power cycle of your modem/router and console?
