Apex servers are extreamly laggy

I'm on Xbox Series X

I can go between 5G wireless and ethernet

I use the 5G connection for downloading games

I use the ethernet connection for stability

5G connection runs at 120-150 mbps average

When I play Apex I'm wired. I run a network diagnostic on my Xbone to see I'm running at 90 mbps average. 0 PL and an average of 30 ping

I can play other online games with minimal to NO issues

I'm not making sweeping blanket statements. NO online games are flawless. There are occasional hiccups here and there. Servers go down and need services. Solar flares are a threat. E-girls stealing bandwidth is a phenomenon. Sometimes my top tier gaming internet package gets dropped to a 56k dialup. $*** happens.

This is a consistently inconsistent pattern specific to Apex gameplay that can be counted on 1/5 even 1/3 matches depending on the day. Something happens to mess up the players match. Sticking, rubberbanding, no regs on shots, enemies Neo Matrix teleporting.


As if we as players don't have enough going against us. Cheaters, exploiters, 3rd parties, we gotta deal with lag, connectivity issues, teammates not generating correctly and if they do they're booted to the lobby if you're not the one seeing the connection error screen

I will note one thing. I see this issue more on my main account than on alt accounts I use to test different controller configurations. It's punishing at times to use the account I created on the very first day of Apex while a fresh new account plays like the first day of Apex
