Are razer movement macros bannable

  • I'm wondering if razer/movement macros can get me banned, I know that aim scripts and macros are bannable but I only want to use tapstrafe/super glide/wall bounce macros, are these detected(razer synapse) or bannable?

    @NullEffective9 That is a terrific answer.

    If you read the rules, it is clear that using any macro to automate actions in game is not allowed. I'm seeing it as akin to using a strike pack. It is not allowed but at the same time there does not appear to be any effort on Respawn's part to actively discourage it.

    The consideration shouldn't be whether or not it's bannable, but whether or not it is fair.

    The basic consideration is whether or not everyone else has access to the functionality you're describing. If they don't, then it isn't fair and shouldn't be used. The egregiousness of it will determine if it's a bannable offense, but fairness should be the first question.

    @7ilmm2a2gnl0 There are multiple claims that they were false positive bans because of the hyperion anti cheat so I would be careful with 3rd party software.

    The question if it is fair to have macros, I would echo Koulnis and Pandareno’s opinion.

    @pandareno1999 statement is spot on about whether Macros are allowed, as is @NullEffective9 statement about fair play.

    Using Macros is cheating, Cheating is a bannable offense. I would not do what you are asking about otherwise you run the risk of losing your account.

    Go back and read the ToS and the fair play agreements/rules.
