I could be mistaken (let me know), but you mentioned the triple take, and I believe with its reclassification it no longer will satisfy a sniper rifle challenge.

    Ah... clearly, I haven't knock-downed an enemy with Triple take in Arena.

    Now, I realized why 2x-4x scope is on that.
