Audio is DISGUSTING
Now sometimes audio of specific things (Shots, Ults or others) simply disappears, it even happened during ALGS. I wonder if you'll ever apologise for the ZERO effort you're putting into this.

I completely agree with the comments about the over clutter of too many sounds going on causing too many distractions & all that but what baffles me as to the sounds that I can still hear in the game are the sounds of my own & my teammates footsteps which can often easily be mis-interpreted as enemy footsteps.I definitely don't need to rely on the sounds of mine or my teammates footsteps so why is it still in the game unless the devs feel it's some sort of comfort thing. Such an easy sound effect to remove from the game one would think but no not unless the sound effects have a paid skin attached to it then it will become priority.

- I saw the Dev's words on the sound issues. Basically said, that to fix the sound the entire game would have to be rebuilt, as its all embedded in the files. They can only make adjustments within their sound engines parameters. Which only gives them a small window of options.
This means that there are not real devs (programmers) there anymore, only modders (who can tweak the in-game parameters). Just I suspected.
@PsyhiX69 Of course they are real programmers, they simply mean that the audio was built on a bad foundation, and reworking that foundation would take a very long time. (which they don’t want to do because EA wants them to push out skins) I can guarantee you they haven't modded the many new things into the game… becase they’re new. Catalyst isn’t a modded character, it took actual code lol!
- @PsyhiX69 This is so untrue. When you build the foundation of any software you make decisions that all of the future software devs have to live with. This is what holds apex back. They didn't have much of a budget as they didn't expect it to be popular so they built on old tech.
I used to believe that with Apex being built on the old Unreal 4 engine (over 10 years old) that to improve or upgrade the audio would only ever realistically happen whenever Apex finally transitions over to the Unreal 5 engine (sometime in the early 2030's according to sources 😉).But has anyone played Fortnite since their Unreal 5 upgrade at the start of last season?. yes graphically the game looks a lot better but the audio on it sounds just as bad as it always did & sounds exactly as same as Apex's audio like when hearing enemies footsteps when you're inside a building it's impossible to determine whether they are inside the building with you or outside & if they are in the same building you cannot determine whether they are above or below you.It's also one of the reasons why a lot of Fortnite players have the 'Visualize Sound Effects' option turned on for the footsteps.
