Ban Legends

I suggest adding a banning phase to legend selection. The 3 of us first ban a legend then the 3 of us pick. I would love to be able to ban octane every game. Octane and wraith mains are game ruiners

This is insane.

I should be able to play any legend I want. Nothing to do with you.

@RockDokRock It's only partly insane. A few games have it - Paladins for one. In each ranked game the first team to pick can ban a legend, then the second team, then the first team again, then the second team. As a result, four legends are banned from the game. Teams then take it turns to pick legends (no duplicates allowed) until both teams have five legends selected.

It could be fun in Arenas if each team was allowed to ban a legend before selection.

In PUBS or ranked every player gets the chance to ban a legend, then at the start of the game the legend with the most votes is banned and anyone who selected them is assigned a random legend.

Obviously this is not a full-time change, but would might make a decent LTM.

However, I have no idea why you'd want to ban a TM from choosing the legend they want to play with. That IS nuts.

If I can't pick my preferred legend because you picked it yourself is fine. I'll insta quit though if a teammate "bans" my legend for no other reason.

Sorry, I don't think anybody should have the power to ban a legend I want to play and have sunk countless thousands of game (and funds) into. No. That's a dealbreaker. Terrible idea.

  You can already "ban" teammates from playing certain legends. It's called "leave match". I used it quite a bit in s9 whenever I got Valk+Octane teammates.

    @CCbathwater What’s wrong with Valk? She’s pretty balanced right now in my opinion.
