Ban wave incoming 🤔

Honestly imo this is a bad system to use for people exploiding a bug.
Why? Because ive been falsely banned for over 3 weeks without anyone reaching out to me, yes i made a ticket.
So their system to undo a ban seems to be complicated and suck.

So i dont think they should brag about banning people for something that doesnt seem like a big deal. They used the new mechanic, annoying for sure. Does it deserve a sanction ? sure!
but a ban? No

I think using something for your advantage isnt perse cheating, because everyone can do the same. I didnt see apex particularly telling us we cant use the shields for x purpose.
Should they warn those people? Again, yes! But banning permanently is stupid.

This will create more cases for them to review, more people who will reach out to them. Meanwhile, people are being banned for no reason (such as me) and we are waiting over 3 weeks for a response. Imo EA currently does NOT have the capacity to deal with this many cases. And people who use a bug, dont deserve a perma ban; so they will logically reach out to the support. 

I also have heard from several sources that people seem to get hacked, for the hackers to cheat and get them banned. Possibly, that is even what happened to me.
Either-way, since this is currently an ongoing issue banning as many people as possible is absolutely nuts.

@DarthValtrexOh yes, EA goes after the cheaters you personally report with video proof since their anticheat is so shaice that they can't notice that there are aimbot.exe running in the background.

Also what counts as bannable exploit?
Octane jumppad where you could do super jump? Bunnyhopping that allowed you to go faster than running when the game launched? The quick swap that allowed you to instantly swap gun if you crouched? Single tap havoc that if you singletapped without turbo it was faster to shoot than charging it? Hemlock single tap where you shot inspected weapon and shot again so you could shoot faster? Crouch slide spam so your hitboxes are unhittable?

Where do you DRAW the line what is okay to exploit and what is not?

Forgot to add the double shot peacekeeper and mastiff things that were HUGELY used by the pro players. But no ban for them am I right.

@OldTreeCreeper like i have said, there should absolutely be some consequences for these people. But i dont see how banning someone is the only way to create order.
Banning someone should be the last resort, especially if someone has "only" exploided a bug and not actually used any software.


I have a two factor authentication now , havent had it before. 
So i hope i am safe from further hacks now.

Though I can only assume i was hacked, because i cannot explain this situation otherwise. I did not notice any significant changes on my account.
My password isnt short or low security, and i login to the game daily as well as check my emails. There was no suspicious activity from what i could tell. 

I don`t really play ranked, so i really can`t tell if anyone was playing ranked on my account and did * there.
I have plenty of kills and badges on my account, so a few more kills (10 or however many ) would absolutely go unnoticed as well. I don`t know what they did, if they did hack me. And i really don`t know why anyone would even do that in the first place. I mean...beside`s just troll....

Hope they do catch whoever it was (group or singular person) because i aint the only one so this seems to be a thing. I dont think Ea will / can track them down but i sure hope they can. 
I also hope they make a public statement about this, warning people to check their account - report anything, and turn on the 2factor authorisation etc. 

@NekoNoTenshi it's obvious how bans like this are effective. Makes people think twice about using any serious sort of non intended advantage to gain personal advantage, esp in ranked.

Glad u got 2 factor on now, well done. Its well publicised for most games now and almost the norm.
