Bangalore Buff ?

I have a proposition: Bangalore is my favorite character, I use her all the time. However, compared to legends like Octane, Bangalore, I feel, is not as equally effective. I have some ideas for some alterations (buffs) that I hypothesize would finally give Bangalore the attention she deserves:

NOTE: All these are not to implemented, just a one or two from each category (or all, if she needs it 😉 ) 

1. Tactical (Smoke Launcher)-

  • Enable Bangalore to see through her own smoke (increase the visibility through her own smoke)
  • Decrease tactical cool down by 10 seconds (from 32 seconds to 22 seconds)
  • Increase magazine size from 2 smokes to 3 smokes 
  • Bangalore has an audio or call out when her or her teammates are entering or approaching enemy smoke ("Hey, that smoke doesn't belong to me," or something like that). 
  • On impact, enemy takes 12 damage opposed to standard 10 
  • On impact, smoke launches briefly slow enemies

2. Passive (Doubletime)-

  • Increase speed boost by 3-5% 
  • Slight jump boost along with speed boost 
  • When an enemy spots Bangalore in double time, Bangalore's character becomes slightly blurred due to the increase in speed (kind of like a motion trail if that makes sense) 
  • Passive activates when entering Caustic gas, Wattson fences, Krypto EMPs, Bloodhound scans, Revenant silencers, Horizon black holes, and Fuse knuckle clusters 
  • Passive activates when Bangalore's ultimate is in affect 

3. Ultimate (Rolling Thunder)

  • Increase damage by 5 (40 to 45)
  • Team rockets have a blue tint 
  • Team rockets do not slow down teammates
  • Bangalore ult. can do slight impact damage to enemies inside Gibby shield (2 damage) 

Just some ideas to pick at 🙂

  • @Landon_NBT Wow you want to totally OP bangalore, the most legend that has been the most balanced in the game for a long time. Seriously think about it. See through smoke while being able to shoot twice as much? Way too strong.

    Love the ideas to differentiate the enemy smoke and ult tho.
  • @Landon_NBT I don't think she needs much work. She's a decent legend as it is and it would not take much to make her top tier or even OP.

    I think your suggestions would make her really OP. If they do any buffs to her, they should be very very minimal. Things like slightly boost the time she is in double time, speed up the time it takes to shoot the smoke and things like that.

    Give me a digital threat and a 99, I'll mow down entire squads no issue at all.

    He said just 1 of each category, so his suggestion is not bad at all.

    DarthValtrex, and then BH comes and laugh hard at you. And what if the enemy have DT, and what if you don`t have DT? :D

    She was the sweet spot somewhere in S5, but they totally messed the power creep of the ability and she is behind big time.

    They should have just use her as a measuring stick, and balance the rest of the legends towards her.

    What i really think she needs:

    BH to not scan her through the smoke. Crypto not see her through the smoke.

    Her Smoke is garbage for team play. Its good if you are solo, but for team, as much as it can help, it can hurt you too. Thats why he is barely touched on High Ranked. On Competitive she has zero place. If you don`t have DT its useless, except for disengage, but there is like 10 tactical for that. And if the enemy team have BH(every team pretty much have it) and or DT, you are wrecked. Her tactical needs to be reworked, but i`m not sure how exactly. Giving it too much power, will make it completely broken, and staying the same is just a 50/50 thing, and some time the % is even lower in your favor. :D

    Her Ult is garbage useless. First, Gibraltar ult is just superior in every aspects, its not even fun. Her ult have kinda the same effects as her tactical, a 50/50. The damage is not scary, the slow and blurry is good, the radius is good, but they need to be on every inch, so you either have to cover, or totally pull of the ult, to not get hit by.

    Its primary a defensive tool, when you try to disengage, you waste both your tactical and ultimate. 
    And here comes the question, who idea was, to make such Ulti, while 50% of the legends can just dodge it, and laugh it.

    Horizon is pretty much invincible, and will even shoot you from the sky. Pathfinder can grapple. Wraith can just Q. Octane Can just use his Jump Pad. Loba can Q and bypass it, Gibraltar use dome and ult is useless. And you pretty much have Gibraltar and or Horizon every single game on High Rank, Competition, and Bangalore Ult is taken out of the equation.

    On top of that, its useless when there is building or you are in indoor.

    I never see a pro player died to Bangalore Ult or die because of it.

    So what needs to be done, so her ult to become useful.

    Make Bangalore unaffected by her is the first thing, that should have been in the game from the beginning. As i said the radius of her ult is good, but make the rockets either more thick or they to be more in that area. Also make all the legends, except Wraith and Gibraltar dome hittable by her ult, while they are in the sky, jumping or so.

    Her Passive:

    Now this passive was strong and viable till S5. But now Octane gets 6 sec 40% speed, and Bangalore passive looks like a joke with the 2 sec 30% speed, and only on W key.

    Now Wraith has 30% speed bonus, Octane have 40%, and her passive is automatically gets worst.

    Pretty much every legends can catch on here. Its not even fun trying to get away by Octane or Pathy for example.

    Its not the main purpose of the ability as well, but more to help with repositioning and so.

    Tho saying all that i think its still good for passive, and if its getting a buff, exactly as it is now, it will be a bit too much.

    I think her passive should stay the same, and they do something for her smoke(rework of some kind to be more useful, but not OP) and the ultimate suggestion i give, and she is going to be better, but still far from S or even A tier.

    So let me summarized the buff she absolutely needs:
    Smoke rework

    Ultimate - to hit the air targets, to be more thick or more rackets at the radius, and she is to not be affected by her ultimate.

    Simple as that.

    @Lord_Scorpion34 As much as I would like this, I think it might make her extremely OP. Plus I don't think that was the intended purpose of Bangalore.

    I have no issue posting 1800+ damage rounds every night with her. Things like being able to see through the smoke with out a digital threat would be really really OP. 

  • I mean a visibility in smoke would be fair considering her tac is smoke...

    @Lord_Scorpion34 What? No way she should be able to see through her smoke. You need to realize everyone can see through caustic gas. And Caustic cannot constantly fire it long range at enemies.

    If playing bangalore I simply run a volt or r99 with a digi. This then does what you want.
