This is what helps make a player good. Adapting to all legends and abilities. As a wraith main I will honestly say she was not in the slightest broken to a point. Her hit box did need a increase but a lot of the people who complained she could not be killed typically dont put in enough games to see she can be. Good players had no issues taking out a wraith I can surely say people didnt have a hard time killing me as wraith and i got some crazy movement.
But with everything said Bangalores double time is huge. Strong enough to make her very desirable to be played? I'd say no or you would see her in ranked or played more often. Het ult is for the most part like lifelines it's useless. It clears fields it serves no purpose but on a very rare occasion. Double time is literally the only thing she has going for her.
For Wraith tho i don`t agree. I don`t know from what point you are playing, but even before the Seasons start, Wraith was insanely OP.
The original legends before the Seasons kicks up was like:
Bangalore, BH, Gibraltar, Lifeline, Pathfinder, Wraith, Caustic, Mirage
And then in S1 and S2 Octane and Wattson come if i`m not wrong.
And everything except for Wraith, Path, Life and Bangalore was straight up terrible. Wraith was always been Number 1.
It was a lot of work, a lot of work, a lot of buffs, and a lot of nerfs to Wraith, to some of the other legends to catch on her.
And still she was absolutely number 1 till like Season 7.
Which just tell you a story, how completely OP she was compare to the rest. It wasn`t even funny. There is a reason why she was pretty much in a every single team. And to be fair till Season 7 she was has like 99% of a pick rate in tournament as well.
Saying she wasn`t OP/Broken is a huge stretch, when she was at top for so long. And there is a difference and i make such between being strong and OP/Broken.
She is strong, but fair since Season 5 or so.
But till then, compare to 90% of the cast she was absolutely OP. At one point she had a low CD on her tactical and it was instant.
There was a reason why the meta was in Comp was all Wraith - Path - Wattson.
As far as her hitbox going, it wasn`t just hitbox tho. It was her famous Naruto movement animation, that make her extremely hard to hit when she was on a run.
There wasn`t even a comparison.
As far as the overall hitbox thread. Everyone who knows a ..... about aiming knows(and you know it), that hitting a bigger thing is always going to be easier.
And yeah the difference is huge. And the difference lets said of a hitbox as big as Gibraltar, compare to Wraith hitbox the inaccuracy could be more than 60%, maybe even more.
And this is with fully remove the other factors as bullets travel, server ...., recoil and so on. Cause yeah that also will impact stuff.
And there is also a thing called movement animation as you know. And everyone from the very beginning knows, that Wraith, Lifeline and Wattson strafing animation are superior to the rest by HUGE margin. And Wattson hitbox is not super small, but her strafe animation is great, and that is one of the reason she was so picked heavily.
There was a youtuber guy that was doing guides from the very beginning, and he explain it perfectly why Wraith and so was so heavily picked, and what was in Titanfall/2, and why female was so much superior, aka because of the small hitboxes.
But lets not turn another thread into a Wraith garbage thread.

@LordloshBangWell that's something I feel is never put into consideration. When I played wraith it was not because I felt she was broke and the best legend in the game. It was because I enjoyed playing her more than the other legends what abilities they offered and how fluent the movement is. So for us who just played her because it's who we found the most enjoyable was hit every season with nerfs. So I feel a lot of those wins and pick rates were not purely built around playing her because she was broke but because we found her the most fun which padded those numbers.
I always say that if I found other legends as enjoyable I would play them all the time. But a lot for me are just boring. - 5 years ago

I always say that if I found other legends as enjoyable I would play them all the time. But a lot for me are just boring.Yeah i know what you are mean. I never care about tier list, which is the best one. I started with Mirage at first. Then i played Octane a bit, and then i finally find myself in Bangalore.
And my change was due to my playstyle, it has nothing to do with how strong X legends were.
But like 90% of the playerbase, and this is not just in FPS, but in RPG, MMORPG and so on, they are playing what the current best meta legend is. And they don`t care about balance, don`t care about if other legends are bad, don`t care if their legends has absolutely broken abilty and so.
They want number 1. Also a lot of player just watch a X streamer, and like 90% of the streamer at that time was either using Wraith or Path, and here it goes.
But all that saying, Wraith was getting away with so much. So many bad players were playing her as a W key. As well as higher level players, because they could get away with so much. And yeah their stats would never even be close to what its like with Wraith if they are using different legends. They would have died way more, and not get away with so many things.
Cause lets not pretend, that being able to insta Q(for so long, and even now), and completely dodge 99% of the ultimates ING, and completely dodge any nades or certain kills are not affecting your stats. If i get stuck with arc i`m 500% dead. If she get stuck with Arc, she is getting away, due to her Q. If i get f***** sucked by Horizon ult, and i`m on reload or the enemy are close to me, even if i down the ULT, i`m 100% dead, because my attention is on the hole, not the enemies. Wraith can just Q and get away.
If i charge like a madman without my teammate and end up on enemy team i`m more than dead in most of the time if i charge completely like a bull. Eh Wraith player was getting away with that as well. If you have enough skills you still are going to get away.
Again going to talk about the strafiing animation, and how the small hitbox affect this huge time. With Wraith you can just spam a-d with a crouch here and there and her animation is super OP, and now matter how good you are tracking, you going to end up missing your shots, even if the enemy just spam a-d. Good luck doing with this bigger legend, you will get insta killed, cause your box was barely moving. Fast strafes are the hardest to track, and everyone with good aiming can tell you that. And if the enemy actually have a good movement, and good reactivity, and have a good strafing pattern, not just mash in there, oh good you are in a huge trouble. And some saying just get gud, and they have no problem with shooting Wraith, and its the same with Giby or so, are completely nonseses.
I got more than 1k hours on Kovaak. My Tracking is my strongest point(kinda lack a bit in Click timing, and being overall good, but nothing special at TS), and the difference between small and big target, even on a top aimer is huge.
You will see a top 10 score with like 40-45% accuracy on a small fast strafing target for example, and like 80% on the same scenario, but not a small one. And let me tell you that the difference between 40% or 50% acc is absolutely huge. Seeing the damage number is way more reviling, than oh there is not much diff. between 40 and 50%, but yeah there is a HUGE difference.
Also a things like oh dear they are shooting at me from range, and i`m running at the open and still get away. You won`t get away most of the time if you having a bigger hitbox. Same as landing the last few shots needed to kill, or charge in and punch someone.
With Bang for example if i crouch on a bin, they will erase me straight away, with Wraith they can`t see a thing on my body and i`m 100% safe. And all the pretending fan, don`t touch her, just buff the rest, and the same Wraith player then end up complaining in every thread that they can`t win a 1vs1 fight against Gibraltar, even when they are not suppose to do so. Still if you are good enough, you will be able to pull this.
All this talk is about the early Wraith, not the current, so don`t get me wrong.
I have long ago said she is alright, strong but fair.
And i was the guy who was actually 100% against nerfing her hitbox. Because this is lowering the skill ceiling, and for people like me that always strive for improving, having small hitbox(if possible on any) is a great thing.
And don`t get me wrong again a good Wraith player is going to be a good Bangalore or Gibby or Octane player.
But a lot of lower skill players were thinking they are gods, simply cause they were riding on a OP legend. And this ain`t something forwarded to Wraith. Its the same with Horizon players as well.
And your posts on here was pretty much top notch most of the time.
