Bangalore's heirloom
Why did Respawn change it from a tonfa? That was so cool. Wraith has a knife, a spinny tonfa thing would be so much cooler. I know I'm late to the question, but this is the one issue that I dislike the most.

- @Cracjaw450 The change happened around the time of all the outrage about police brutality. They never said they changed it due to that but it seemed like quite the coincidence.
- @Cracjaw450 Well she is a Marine. So I could see the Heirloom being something that is related to Marines, something that symbolizes the Marines.. I wonder if we'll see a Tonfa on another legend?!
No matter what they ultimately use, I think if it's anything close to Caustics in terms of animation qualify and creativity, then it's going to be awesome!
I feel like the heirlooms have got progressively better as they have been released. Caustics is my favorite at the moment. I play Bang quite a bit so I'm definitely going to buy it. - @hayhor But Bangalore literally has a police officer skin!! And she's black! *chuckles* Argh!! Police aren't inherently racist, some of them are, but just because one guy is bad, it doesn't mean all the others are, come one Respawn, a Tonfa is awesome.
@DarthValtrex I can't wait for the Gibby heirloom, while I'm kinda sad it isn't a fish hook, the axe still looks kinda cool All racial tension reasons aside, I feel the change is actually pretty logical.
Now I could be wrong here....but I'm fairly sure no military forces uses tonga as a standard issue piece of kit lol, knives however are widely used.
A Bowie knife seems far more logical than a tonfa to me. O.o
- @MandatoryIDtag I thought only special forces use David Bowies and normal soldiers just only have guns... (not much of a soldier-knowing person)
@Koochi-Q Pretty sure the US army did receive m9 bayonets as part of their kits however I've no idea if this is still common practice. (Any muricans here please feel free to correct me!)
I think basically all of the major global special forces do receives knives though.
Either way the point stands lol. 😛
