I frequently see complaints that because of things like Arenas challenges, etc., the battle pass progression in unfair. Well, I started playing on a smurf account about a week ago to queue in my best friend's pred level lobbies without wrecking the stats I've worked very hard to get in my typical medium-difficulty lobbies that I get soio queuing or playing with my other (also mediocre) friends. I haven't even looked once at the challenges, neither daily nor weekly. And the account's battle pass level right now is 34. Zero Arenas games played. That's a third of the way to finishing, in one week without any effort. I am not getting loads of kills or damage in these games, if i did so I'd have lots more levels. I suggest after this experience that given regular play time, the battle pass is not difficult to finish, it's a breeze. In fact, after looking at this, I may play the first month or so of next season on my main without even looking at challenges. Once they start stacking up in the latter half of the season, they practically complete themselves.

@pandareno1999 The old challenges were insane. There was a time where one of the challenges was to kill or do a finisher in this specific POI in Kings Canyon.

@pandareno1999Exactly! I actually like the way they do it. I haven't played a whole lot this season, so I was around level 60 last Friday. I hit 108 last night with ease, because I was knocking out challenges, left and right. The only reason I'm doing some Arena challenges this season, is because I was behind. Most seasons, I don't touch Arena, and still max out the BP a few weeks early. My buddy that has hardly played with me this season was level 32 last Friday, and is now 68, so we'll get him maxed out over the weekend@OldTreeCreeper Yep! I was making progress on tons of challenges each match.I like to see which Legend-specific or weapon challenges double stack, and run that Legend or weapon type. @warslag One thing people overlook is they don't have to buy the BP before working on it. You can buy it later when you know you'll get far enough.

@hayhor Very true. Also, I haven't paid for the BP since S2. I don't buy skins, so I just roll the coins over to the next one and save my money, Lol

@dSKyNafinchin Yeah I made a huge mistake when I started playing Rogue Company. I played it a good amount for a week and thought wow I'm pretty far in the battlepass, this should be easy to finish so I bought it. Little did I know how hard it would actually be. It was brutal. I didn't come close to finishing.

@pandareno1999 Yeah it's never been hard. It is even easier end of season because challenges overlap. I fell behind on my BP due to life stuff and came back with a handful of weeks left. I played different characters and did some challenges and in 2 weeks I did around 60 levels.

@BigMacAttack8u I've always maintained that, except for S9 when Arenas was shoved down out throats, the arenas challenges can be completely ignored, and that the battle pass is easily finish-able. But I was really surprised by how many level I gained so quickly without trying.

Apex has the easiest BP to finish, gives back the coins, and a decent set of skins. It’s even easier than the Fall Guys BP.

@asukojo Yeah I've seen images of the challenges and such in early seasons. There was some really dumb stuff that discouraged regular gameplay in favor of senseless grinding! But the flip side of that was that much of them could be completed by yourself, in the firing range. My understanding was that the S7 challenges were considered a bit too much, and caused player blowback. I don't remember the challenges very well, but I did manage to complete the S7 BP fairly easily as well.

I just feel like every few weeks, someone comes in to complain that StUpiD aRenAs ChaLleNgeS are hurting their battle pass progression, and I now can make a fairly solid suggestion that this is not true.

@pandareno1999 only looked at the weeklys to finish some 10 star ones after level 100 in the BP, to bridge the gap ASAP to 110. If you keep doing the dalies regularly then the BP is easily done.
The fortnite BP is really easy up to level 100. If you let the weeklys and other ad hoc challenges pile up, then 50 levels can be done in about 5 hours of strategic play 🥳
