No season 13's battle bass has been much too difficult and takes far too much time to complete. i don't know if it's just me but it has felt worse in this regard compared to previous seasons. Sure you can get the first half or so levels done pretty quickly while there's still plenty of challenges to do, but towards the end as your options for challenges to complete gets very narrowed down then it becomes way too much of a grind. From what i can tell it looks like you have to complete just about all the challenges to finish the battle pass, which to me seems like far to much of a grind for some mediocre cosmetics. i also can't understand why so many people come to Respawn's defence in instances like this, sure it's nice to have some special cosmetics which you put a fair bit of effort into earning, but a battle pass should be just for ordinary casual players to get some rewards for playing the game on a semi regular basis, rather than having to earn them by doing a bunch of onerous task that quickly begin to feel more like a job than playing a game. but that's just my opinion.
It shouldn't be hard. It's more about how much time it will require to finish BP. In past i could finish in a week. Now it takes closer to 2 weeks.
- @Meldide I am a casual player, and I usually finish the BP weeks ahead of time, and I don't even bother with Arena challenges. I love they way they do the BP on here. My buddy was at level 32 last Friday, and we grinded him to max out in just a week, so he didn't miss out on the Spitfire skins. I usually complete the majority of the BR challenges passively, if I'm being honest. Some of the old challenges were difficult to complete, because they required specific actions at specific POI's. I have no issue with the current state of BP challenges/progression, personally. My playtime has dropped drastically the last couple/few seasons, but I'm still never stressing about finishing and reaching max level, luckily.
I haven't even paid for the BP since season 2, as I just roll over the Apex coins from the pass, and buy the next season with them.
As for BP rewards for casual play, you get free rewards without even buying the BP, which would be the epitome of casual, imo. Halo Infinite has a MUCH more time consuming BP progression, with the way they do it.

BATTLE PASS
Certain Battle Pass challenges can now be completed in either Battle Royale or non-Battle Royale modes, giving you the flexibility to complete the Battle Pass your way.
Hopefully this gives people even more options if they happen to find themselves short on either time or a desire to play a certain mode. 🙂
@EA_Mako 100%!! BP changes look good. I hope this change is satisfactory. To be clear, I personally don't care if they made the BP so easy all you have to do is log in every day to finish it. I just don't think that it was previously very hard to complete if you play regularly. My alt account made it to lvl 47 playing the two weeks of the season with about 140 games played.
