Biggest question I have is. Why do those who say they have quit and uninstalled still hang around the forums if they have given up?
¯\_(ツ)_/¯
- GRiPSViGiL5 years agoSeasoned Ace@E9ine_AC While I own EA games I am very happy with there is no harm in conversing on the forums we so see fit. I gave them a mulligan for the first 3 seasons but once season 4 started and nothing was done to improve the actual performance of the game. I was out.
I would still say Apex is the best BR game if it were not for the list of things the OP opened the thread with. Those things are without dispute issues and have been since launch. They are deal breakers. It is a shame but you can have the best recipe and if the game performs like junk then you got nothing.
It is cathartic in a way to leave something you had high hopes for or thoroughly enjoyed in spite of it's short comings and see that other people can relate and had the same frustrations. - 5 years ago
@E9ine_ACI think it’s like a lot of things in life. @gripsvigil’s reason might be monetary/interest related but this behavior shows itself a lot in real life too. Think for example staying after work or after school to talk to friends even if you have each other’s number, snap, instagram, facebook or what have you. In this case the reason is socially bound. But it can also be interest bound.
Most ppl who’ve left have stated they left because of problems with the management of the game and not problems with the game itself ‘per se’. In this example I’m using fixing SBMM, randoms and such management problems as it’s not part of the core game.
They still like the core game and still hope for the best so they may eventually return to play. To stay on the forum is for this group linked to staying updated and informed.
There’s also just the ‘the forums are fun’ group xD. Heck, Since quite a few seasons ago I’m more on the forums than in the actual game. Even when I took a break from the game I was here just to goof off :P
There are likely multiple other reasons why ppl stay tho...
But one thing is certain... someone willbe backdie - 5 years ago@E9ine_AC Ask myself the same question, dont understand why the same 2 or 3 ppl keep on coming on here and keep on ranting about how much they hate the game.
- hayhor5 years agoHero@RustedYoda It is a combination of 2 things- They want things fixed because deep down they know it's a good game. And breaking an addiction can be very hard. I say both of these as a former FUT addict who spent a lot of time getting banned from those forums.
- 5 years ago@hayhor makes sense, but I would assume the best way to get over it is to just stop talking about the game and maybe read and reply to off-topic threads.
- GRiPSViGiL5 years agoSeasoned Ace@RustedYoda You act like typing a few sentences of our thoughts is time consuming. Takes seconds and some times just mins.
As was stated before it is also a way to keep our pulse on the game if things should change for the better.- 5 years ago
Question is:
Which shooter you play now?
