This is like asking which type of hammer is best for basting a chicken. None of them are any good. If you're letting enemies get close enough that your only option is a close-range weapon then you may just as well toss a coin.

Devo is definitely the best auto in the game but only if you can find a turbo. That's a pretty big if in my experience.

@reconzero If you run into someone with red chances are you will have at least a level 2 mag on that r99. When the OP says close range I'm talking super close.
The nemesis is much better at a distance than up close. Flatline is my preferred AR up close.
