Just saying, this weapon supposed to be like Mozambique, but maybe a little bit better, it supposed to be that "trash early weapon" but work more efficiently and can deal a decent amount of damage from mid-range.Knocking blue shields with just 2 arrows doesn't make any sense. If anything, wingman should.But yeah, they will not rework it that far... Maybe in another lifetime.

@bosourd I've noticed a massive drop in bocek users since they nerfed it.Amazing how asight nerf has such an impact on the playerbases weapon choice lol. I guess all the players that were mindlessly launching arrows at every target they saw until one actually hit couldn't handle the ammo cap.

@bosourd I love the thing, they could nerf it further and I'd still use it lol. I just generally prefer marksmen weapons on apex. 😛

@bosourd I'm cool with it being a high impact high damage gun. But I think it should be really difficult to use, sort of like the Wingman and Sentinel. Those are two of my favorite weapons in game. They are so much fun when I'm landing shots with them.Fun note, if you use the shatter caps you can lob arrows at people. You won't do a ton of damage, but it's a good way to harass a team that's already fighting.

@MandatoryIDtagExactly, I played 3 games earlier today with @hayhor... picked it up in all 3 games and that 10 dmg reduction? Lolz hardly even notice it... but to be fair I sucked at shooting cause I was playing with barely any audio xD so I couldn’t even engage much with it.If a game has a bow (character), I usually play that... so it’s a main weapon for me...

I disagree, the Bocek should be on the powerful side, as it is currently the only weapon that needs arrows. A player would always have to drop everything they have for their current weapon and start over with the bow. No one will do that if the bow is a weak weapon.

@MandatoryIDtag Yeah because the initial release was OP so players that love the weapon feel betrayed lol.

To be really honest I only use bocek 2 or 3 times. Never really like it.

it does more damage than the wingman wich is crazy if you ask me. wingman is suppost to be the superiour weapon specialy since they nerfed the hit registration on it.
the crazy thing doesnt need to reload, has hardly any 'bullet' drop and the velocity is insane.
you somewhat aim at the target and you hit.
yes it needs a HUGE nerf. specialy the hit registration.

@B3ntar they just need to bring g its drop in line with the other marksman weapons, as it stands its treading sniper territory. Seems to be sat on like a 150m range before you have to account for arrow drop.
100m would be sufficient.
The only thing stopping your average player from using it as a true sniper (300m+ kills) is the fact that the sights are so small on it. Even running a x3 gives you a pretty limited field of enhanced sight.

and what about the superiour damage..
oke the range as sniper is not all great but mid and close range its just way to OP.. i do admit i pick it up aswell.. free kills for the taking 😉
but in all fairness its just a way to OP gun/Bow that doesn't fit the loot pool at this moment.

The wingman still is superior at close-mid range, the damage figures between the two aren't dissimilar, except the wingman has a higher fire rate, better hipfire accuracy.
