yes sir you will be good. they added account connection or whatever cross play idk what it's called, but I'm 99% you should be good. oh yeah its called account cross progression.
OZIBLACK187 like what xparmhub had mentioned, if your accounts are linked, you can buy the Battle Pass on your Switch and then play the game on your PC.
However, a few very important things to note:
- When you buy the pass on your Switch, be sure the pass is unlocked in-game on your Switch first before switching over to your PC account. (This is so it becomes registered with your Apex Account that the pass was bought, and thus would unlock it across all your connected platforms).
- Everyone's Apex Account has two Apex Coin wallets. The first wallet, is a shared wallet between PC, (the EA App and Steam), Xbox, and PlayStation. The second wallet is only for the Switch. (This means that if you have 1,000 Apex Coins right now on your Switch account, you'll be left with 50 Apex Coins after buying the pass on your Switch account, (which sadly won't be useable on your PC account)).
This also means that any coins earned from the pass will be locked to the platform's wallet for which the coins were earned on. (Meaning, if you had played on your Switch and unlocked the first set of 100 Apex Coins, and then unlocked the rest while playing on your PC, those first set of 100 Apex coins will be locked to the Switch account as those were earned on the Switch, (so I recommend sticking to the platform you intend to play the game on for the whole pass to avoid earning coins on the undesired platform).
Additionally, if you already progressed to the point on your Switch account where you've earned coins from the pass already, those coins will be locked to your Switch account. Furthermore, if you've progressed to the point where you can unlock more coins only if you have the pass, then buying the pass on your Switch will automatically unlock those coins, and thus would lock it to the Switch as well.- OZIBLACK1875 months agoRising Newcomer
thanks so i should firstly complete whole battle pass and then buy it on switch ?
OZIBLACK187 If you complete the pass on your PC account and then buy the pass on your Switch, you would have at least 100 Apex Coins locked to the PC/Xbox/PlayStation shared wallet, (as 100 free Apex coins are unlocked at level 8 and at level 50).
If you're wanting to know the best way to go about this, what is your preferred platform, your current battle pass level, and the platform wallet, (aka the PC/Xbox/PlayStation's shared wallet or the Switch's wallet), in which you wish to have your Apex coins reside in, (keep in mind that some Apex Coins may be locked to an undesired platform, (for example, you would have a left over of 50 Apex Coins in your Switch's wallet, if you had 1,000 Apex Coins and had bought the pass for 950 Apex Coins while you were at level 0 of the pass)).
It would also help to know how many Apex Coins you currently have in your Switch's wallet, so I could better suggest how to use your Apex Coins, (in other words, provide the best way to obtain the pass, and be able to use up most, (if not all), your Apex Coins on the undesired platform, so that you can start to build up your Apex Coin balance on the desired platform instead).
Note: Apex Coins cannot be moved from the Switch wallet to the shared platform wallet or vice versa.- AymCTL5 months agoSeasoned Ace
Right, I play on both switch and PC (which congratulations for being able to do that, you must have nerves of steel, lol) and I do exactly what Midnight was saying. The apex coins don't transfer so just make sure to check the BP and only complete those levels on the device you plan to accumulate the coins on. I always roll my 950 coins over to the next pass each season, so I check and if the level that gives AC away is coming up I make sure I'm playing on PC when that happens so I can build my coins up in the PC wallet. Good luck :)
