@reconzero Use the firerate/type change button. The button that toggles hemlock between burst and single, 301 between auto and single, akimbo between akimbo and single, etc.
For the CAR it toggles it between heavy and light. Need ammo to do it though.
It NEVER comes preloaded with light, always heavy.
And even when you have it in light ammo mode, replicators still craft heavy for it instead of light.
However, if you run out of the active ammo and empty the mag, and have some alt ammo, it will automatically swap type and load with the other ammo.
Ex: light mode, no spare, empty mag, have heavy, swaps to and load heavy. Likewise heavy mode, no spare, empty mag, have light, swaps to and loads light.
Controller: Default left arrow.
