Can someone explain to me how is this possible?

A guy is a past season (split 1 I assume, not badge expert) Diamond = Diamond 4 is the lowest. If he did not play Split 2 => Demoted to Gold 2, same this split = Silver 4 demotion at its lowest... Yet he is Bronze 4... and playing Platinum lobbies at the moment.

It is just a weird combo unless he tried to lose his rank while being inactive or loosing all his/her games along the way.

  • @EREGDS I don't know what season that badge is from but if it is multiple seasons ago and he didn't play ranked he would be bronze 4.
  • @hayhor Based on my badge it should be season 10 badge, that's what I also wrote above that the player had at most 2 split demotions before now and somehow he goes from D4 min to B4...

    I only can see that happening if he did not play, then when playing lost it all (went to each splits hardstuck level) and then went inactive or play bad... stuff that usually does not happen with Diamond players...

    @EREGDS If he lost two splits without playing that wouldn't put him bronze 4. Pretty odd.
  • @hayhor What I meant was something like this:
    Season 10 split 1 he is D4 -> Demoted to G2 Season 10 split 2
    He plays S10 S2 and loses to G4 -> Season 11 comes and demote him to B2
    He plays and loses everything Season 11 and gets to B4

    But I mean what are the odds that someone who has been recent Diamond 4 can not get out of Bronze :D
  • That’s odd indeed. That’s a BR diamond badge not an arenas badge. You can differentiate them by looking at the apex logo/emblem at the bottom of the badge. The arenas badges have those 2 whisker looking things beside the apex logo and it’s a V compared to the BR letter A emblem.
