Cant play the game with my less skilled friends, brother or girlfriend

@MandatoryIDtag But where does it sit with TOS if you can now report people for Smurfing? It doesn't make sense.

@GH0STEDbyME This is exactly why I say it's an impossible situation lol, I made a smurf account to play apex with my partner wayyyyy back, as she isn't a gamer so basically calling her a bot would be a compliment. XD

Anyway I literally tried my best to play terribly and it was still too much for that lobby, and my skill level is lower than the OP's. So if he was to try that now he'd undoubtedly end up catching a ban for smurfing.

I just find it bizarre that apex has such an aggressive focus on team play, and yet its also designed so that you can't just have a casual game with friends.

Perhaps if ranked was better incentives pubs would he more friendly for this kind of play? As it stands a gun charm,a badge, and a trail you get for 1 season kinda sucks.

@MandatoryIDtag Ah I hear that. My partner is the same. Apex was her first....well game really xD She couldn't aim and wouldn't let me be in the room when she was playing. Was like 500 games or so before she got her first kill. I can't remember what her K/D is but it's slowly getting there. If she plays on her own her lobbys aren't too bad (I know from watching or doing her daily challenges myself lol) but if we party up as a duo in trios the SBMM just tries to steamroll us.

Let's face it. They scream that Apex is a team game until they're blue in the face but it's not really. SBMM is all over the place and don't you dare want to play with friends. Rambo randoms only for you! xD

I don't think changing ranked rewards would make much of a difference tbh. Higher skilled players seem to play pubs for a break or not being able to compete religiously in higher ranked so they jump over to pubs and crap on everyone else xD

  @GH0STEDbyME When i play randoms i get below average teammates 9 times out of 10. Then I'm against pre made masters squads. It just doesn't make sense. I played arenas solo the other day got a level 3 and a level 19 on my team. Other team was 2 diamonds and a master

    @lightning_5o they're more bothered about keeping casual players happy, as there are considerably more of them.
    If the skill ceiling is too high for casuals, they don't play....if they aint playing they aint spending.
    The BR genre in general is more about maximising profit than it is about fun these days.
