Caustic will be super weak in the new map
I was watching some of the early videos of the new map, were some streamers got early access and testing new map. I'm really worried that it might not be the map for Caustic. A fat target in vaste op...

@Alphabets Perhaps as a solo legend, but as a team I think he will be alright. I
If he is teamed with a Path, the caustic can fortify the high ground. I play caustic a ton and for me that has been his strength in general. When I have a good path on my team, we Zip and grab high ground POI, I fortify it and as a team we hold the high ground.
I think it's really going to boil down to who he is paired with on a team.

@DarthValtrex i agree.
I've played most my games this season with caustic and think he does just fine on this map, if he's teamed up with the right legends. If you can get high ground with a legend such a pathfinder or octane, you're pretty much set with his gas.
@Alphabets yeah he can only put so many barrels down at one time, but at least if you can cover several entrances or areas, you're either made aware which side theyre pushing when they set your barrels off or know you've minimised the number of entrances they can come in through unnoticed.

@GH0STEDbyME yeah, considering they said they'd made his gas more lethal in terms of damage, the amount of enemies just walking through it like its nothing is unreal!
