Caustic will be super weak in the new map

@Alphabets I've watched about 5 game play videos today and I do not think this at all. There are tons of cover locations. I will say it would be nice to have a path or horizon teammate in some spots but that is the case on worlds edge too.
After playing in the new map maining Caustic, since the day season 7 launched, I have to say I was right and Caustic is very weak (if not the weakest) in this map, especially due to his large hit box it's an easy target for snipers and also first to go down in case of 3rd party. Just a fat dude running in open areas hoping no one sees him XD
When houses has two floors and 4 doors (2 on each floor), how could he fortified?! When a tunnel got 2 floors and many entrances, how can he fortified that? He can't even do things he was able to do in other maps.
- @Alphabets After playing for a week as only caustic I dont see an issue. There are places I dont like to go with any character but that goes for every map. I honestly dont get all the whining by others about the maps open areas at all. Before moving locations you just need to plan it out. Yes, there are spots you will struggle to fortify without teammates to help but that goes for any map. I'm at a 13% win rate and my KD is up 20%. I'll keep running caustic.
It might be helpful to put the gas canisters on a trident, if you haven’t tried it yet.
Other option is to combo the Caustic gas with a Horizon ult.
