@DoYaSeeMe is this a normal play by your judgment? [Admin - Removed link due to naming and shaming]
21 days, this dude is still playing, and is at the moment on Master. =]
- 6 years ago@Bad_No_BaNg This is an aimbot, clearly. But I rarely see this obvious kind of cheating. If that player is still in the game, then maybe there are not enough reports on him, or he's case number 2.345.678 on the list.
Let's do some rough math. 20% cheaters from a playerbase of over 70-80 million players is over 10.000.000 cases. If we allocate 3 minutes to check the evidence and take action against each, we end up with 500,000 hours of work, so 62,500 full working days. Roughly 3 months of work for an army of 1000. Well, that would clearly be an expense of millions of dollars, turning the game into a huge money sinkhole.- 6 years ago
We are clearly playing different games then, I can send you at least 10 similar clips daily from different players, pretty much on any region.

@DoYaSeeMeAnd you just explained why it’s impossible to keep a free to play game cheater free. I’m sick of playing simply because of the cheaters. There are way to many. Play for a day and you go against them frequently enough to ruin the experience. The game has been over run with cheaters and it’s too much to police. So I’m taking a break and seeing if anything changes in a few months. All other titles I have ever played do not have the cheater problem Apex does. They have cheaters but it’s not out of control like it is with Apex. Fortnight free to play and somehow isn’t is littered with cheaters. Perhaps it’s because they’re spending more money controlling them. Apex simply let it get out of hand. I think they’ve been too cheap about it.
- 6 years ago@DavidW74 I think Fortnite is much more casual than Apex, it's not all about who shoots first, bullet drop and velocity, ttk and weapons are different, there is a lot of building, side events, etc.. Cheating makes less sense or may be harder to notice in that game.
Apex went the free way for pretty solid reasons and it really looks like the best choice, even with so many cheaters. I'd rather lose 2-3 fights a day to cheaters, but enjoy the other 7-8 out of 10 matches, instead of waiting forever for the queue to fill up if I want to play PvP in Titanfall 2. That game has so many similarities with Apex Legends, yet very few Apex fans open their wallets to spend 10$ or even less to get it and try all those interesting modes.
