@BigMacAttack8u You're not going to change anyone's mind. However thanks for your post. I've been thinking the same as you wrote about this on occasion ever since that video footage was first released. As for myself, I play only in console lobbies, and I couldn't care less if Respawn were to decide to nerf aim assist. I'd still be on equal footing with my competition, regardless. If it would silence even just a percentage of the whining and malding over this particular topic, that would be a win in my book.
There is only one true way to end the whining over this issue. Some have screamed for it, others don't want it.
PC plays against PC.
Console plays against Console.
And there is the end to the huge controversial console AA vs PC.
Now if only bringing the great toilet paper roll debate to an end, could be as easy.

Respawn wants quick que times to make the game more enjoyable and therefore more profitable, I don’t think they will ever change this.”
Unfortunately I believe that solution will never come to pass, as profits from apex would begin to dip, friends not able to play together, and pc having longer q times.- 3 years ago@BigMacAttack8u Oh I am aware of that fully. I said it with the knowledge that it would never happen. I just know it is also the only way to end the long standing debate over it all.
I understand exactly what it would do to the game in its entirety.
I personally do not enjoy playing in PC lobbies, but it is what it is. I don't believe it will ever change - much like the broken sound engine, Respawns ability to balance or the reveal meta talking a break. : )- 3 years ago
@BigMacAttack8u when the option to disable aim assist became available I turned it off shortly after, and honestly aiming felt so much smoother once I adjusted to it.
Now I'm not saying AA isn't helpful by any means....I just found it a heavy hindrance In certain scenarios....and honestly I just find it a more genuine gaming experience in apex. We're all using controllers on apex(console) so I mean really we shouldn't need it per say. At least that's my opinion anyway.
I guess pc is a trickier topic but the bottom line is movement beats AA and there's no getting around that fact lol.
