@pandareno1999There are definitely players who really rely on aim assist to play, especially in CQC. If they decide to nerf it, you'll definitely see those who constantly ADS even in CQC become a bit more dominate at the game.
Ok, so Aim Assist does not apply to hipfire? Then what are the laser sights for?
I admit to not knowing a ton about the various types of AA (or even how to turn it off an on in Apex yet) but at least with Destiny 2 I notice I hit hipfire shots from AA that would have missed more than when aiming. Based on everyone I see seeming to shoot hipfire in the Crucible, I thought it applied to hipfire only (and aiming, was, well, manual aiming).
My problem in FPS games is that as in real life, I ALWAYS AIM MY GUN. Using real guns for 25+ years has drilled into my head that you, "AIM, you DO NOT HIPFIRE, and you know what your target is and why lies beyond it." As a result, I keep aiming all the time even in close range and usually get wrecked. If I can keep enemies at "marksman" ranges I can usually hit.
So, does aim assist apply to hipfire or aiming in Apex? Maybe that's why I keep getting wrecked is cause I aim like I would any real gun...
If you are not hip firing close up you will lose most fights.
- Kyldenar3 years agoSeasoned Ace@hayhor Is the value higher when aiming?
And does 'quick scoping' work for people? I can't keep track of the movement of crap much less multiple enemies doing that...- hayhor3 years agoHero@Kyldenar No it's the same value. People quickscope to avoid the hip fire spray.
- BigMacAttack8u3 years agoSeasoned Ace@hayhor You don’t even have to quick scope to reduce it, if you just hit the left and right trigger at the same time, it greatly reduces the spread, especially for snipers.
