Community Managers
''A community manager will post as themselves, not the brand, and work on developing the community by participating in discussions, finding new customers and listening to the current ones.'' What ha...
@apostolateofDOOM They probably has to cover a lot of Forums (5-10), while our local Champions here just focus on 1 or 2 forum.
How they can catch bad behaviour? They probably has automatic script that flag it, such as cheater with video/username, piece of Ssszzztt, F**** 🙂
@DarthValtrex Nothing of interest going on in the barracks then? 😛
Well @EA_David used to be on the scene quite regularly and so did @EA_Blueberry back in the day but he's not been around for quite awhile. We see @EA_Kent on the occasion who had some banter before and that just leaves mainly @EA_Aljo and @EA_Darko who are frequent here.
If i missed anyone then sorry and feel free to say hi! 😛
@asukojo They have one CM (maybe more or less) per main game on AHQ and this is months where the only interaction is basically moderating or only helping with problems like troubleshooting or bans ect... As far as i'm aware and someone correct me if i'm wrong, a community manager and community moderator are very different things although the latter role is a part of the former.
Hey, guys. I think all of us here can appreciate some banter. Things can get pretty hectic here so it's always fun to get some laughs in and have a good conversation instead of just moderating. We all work across several boards and we don't necessarily specialize in every game. Personally, I'm more of an NHL guy. I know @EA_Kent plays a lot of Apex. @EA_Blueberry spends a lot of his time with the Madden players. It's easier to get those fun conversations going when it's on one of the boards that we specialize in. When it comes to Apex, personally, I'm a very casual participant. One no competitive player would willingly want on their squad 🙂
I am tasked with sports titles so I unfortunately have trouble keeping up on Apex Legends at the moment because of current priorities with the other titles, but I still dabble in Apex Legends when I have time with friends. I've always been a Battlefield fan (that's where my name came from) so I'm quite excited for the new one scheduled to release. With the Pandemic we saw a huge increase in volume within our games because people decided to spend their time there for various reasons, so needless to say the sports titles were very busy this year with real life sports being delayed. I love talking to the community about general game stuff when I can...if you feel there is a lack of chatter on our behalf it's likely to us reporting bugs submitted here, reports, notifying the studio teams of important concerns, and so forth. It always pains me to see issues pop up so I always try to prioritize those over the "fun" threads to ensure players are having a smooth experience. We all want to avoid the bugs and technical issues as much as possible, so as a gamer who has experienced those over time I know it can be annoying.
@EA_Blueberry Long time no see blueberry! Hope you're well!
