Crafting Materials! How many you got? Will they become Worthless?

Im currently sitting on 3,600 crafting materials. At launch i bought enough boxs to get the wraith knife. I dont have any regrets on that as i really enjoy this game with over 650hrs played and was h...

Lol, are you crazy? Not everyone spent over 500 bucks on ingame purchases and now sits on 3.000 cm.

I currently have 1.750 cm just waiting for a release of a new legend, in order to get the best legendary skin immediatly after release.

What makes you think they become worthless?

    I have 770, next 1200 i reach is getting me that bumblebee mirage skin. ;p

@JjumpingJjack Not everyone spent 500$ so we should just abandon the players that did? i didnt spend nearly that much but the fact they want to bring in another currency even though there is already a rare currency in place seems rather scummy. A lot of people thought the Skins would be Similar to OverWatches where youd be able to craft event skins during the event period for a premium price. The fact you cant makes crafting materials less desirable.

I never said they'll become worthless, that was simply a question for discussion in the title. My last line of the 1st paragraph will explain how i see the crafting materials at their current point. (Crafting materials used for the rollouts of new characters and thats about it).

  Again, just like Solos, we can't keep catering to a small percentage of people who think there's a "problem." They're not worthless and will never be worthless to the majority of the player base. Crafting materials are a highly sought after currency, thus the outburst from the community about Season 1 not having enough. That's why they introduced them into the Season 2 Battle Pass.
  What kind of weird upper echelon, elitist whale topic is this? I'm so confused.

    @jonesy0218 i think the OP was showing a concern that weird random currencies like the crowns would replace crafting materials if all new skins are event based, which sucks for all of us in the long run "whales" included.
    As for the OP, the shortage of purchasable items is literally only an issue if you've spent a considerable amount of cash on loot ticks...as you stated you have. The rest of us still have plenty of use for the craft materials. 😛
