Damage and Hit marker / Registration

To all my fellow legends.

I am huge fan of apex and mediocre gamer. I am 37 and go way back to before Nintendo.

However, play as lifeline in most games, I have 37 season wins and over 500 season kills and I play after work when I get time.

Since about two weeks ago I have seen a lot of hit markers but I don’t seem to be doing much damage to my opponent.

I have the damage numbers turned of in the settings so I can clearly see what I am doing while scopes out and dealing fire. 

I have checked my network countless less times. I am beginning to think it’s just apex, I mean I have no issue playing black out, I mean every now then you’ll see a moment. 

So has apex have a strong lag compensation? Or what is really going on with the hit regeneration and damage. 

It seems be worse when you have a full squad as in playing with invited rather than ransoms. 

Any insight would be useful to all of our benefit who encounter this.

    PURE JUNK I cant tell you how bad the hit detection is on some guns, and PATHFINDER...

    its broken just like alot of other things in the game...lately dmg has also been registering as health first and then shield...which is bad since if i land 98 health dmg and then followed by 50 shield dmg its screws with decision making.

    you can probably expect a fix by season 4 or 5

    their team is busy drawing more stat tracker badges and does not want to be overworked

    When i search to play on my own countrys server uk i see 20 ping and 2% packet loss...

    why?

    Not your network issue brother, trust me. When i start play this game, i spending my whole time troubleshooting this damage register issue.  Is the server itself, kinda unstable and always out of sync. Dont get fooled with lowest ping server, that is the one mostly unstable. Seems their game engine and server have terrible packet control or netcode. Try different alternate server available on your nearest region, it might better play with less populated server.

    I usually play on Salt Lake City, which is half way across the country for me. Or I will play the Iowa servers. I am starting to experiment playing in other countries such as the London servers the work okay, I mean some speak English and others didn’t so yeah that didn’t work to well. So I just used the ping system. 

    Tonight i I am gonna try the worst server with no packet loss and see what happens.
