That's the main problem with this game in ranked. Damage is not taken to the calculation of RP.A kill ( aside from any multipliers ) grands you 10RP. (You need RP to rank up.)Damage has no value. You can be the most skillless person on this planet as long as you do the last point of damage somehow. Who ever did the 199 points of damage right before you just gets the finger. Cant count how often i have teammates with 6 kills by 400+ damage while someone else has 1600dmg and 1 kill. Or maybe it is meant that way, teammates wait to the very last second to help the team just to get the kill RP. This system in not supporting team play. Every 50 points of damage should be worth 1RPEvery knock should be worth 5RP

@Apyhs If your teammate got the the kill, an assist is equal to a kill when it comes to RP. For me, it doesn’t matter who got the last shot as long as your team won that fight and get max RP at the end of the match.

@Cheese9Man Not the complete truth. An assist only applied within 5 seconds after your last hit on that enemy and a teammate is doing the last hit.

@Apyhs It should be squad kills like ALGS. This would mean that the whole assist timer would no longer be needed.

Damage is too easy to farm and exploit. A person sniping for damage doesn't really help the team more than the guy with 6 kills and 400 damage.

Still feels unfair to me doing all the work while my teammates get the RPs and me is getting minus RP.

80% of my games the enemy gets away with ... no clue.. like 20hp left. i run after them. he pushes the first shieldcharge, starting the second shiledcharge while finally getting flanked by a teammate who was more satisfied looting stuff than helping me and kills the guy who just has 45hp. I dont even get an assist 4 that.

@Apyhs This is false. The assist threshold is 10 seconds and I think that’s enough to kill someone or to get an assist.

@Apyhs In my method both of you would get kp.

If most of your engagements are you doing damage to one shot and no teammate is near you to help, perhaps you should stay with your team. 🤷‍♂️

@Cheese9Man I feel like 10 seconds is more than enough for assist stats. Even the 7.5 seconds was fine, in my opinion. If the enemy hasn't healed up within that amount of time, that's on them. It shouldn't count as an assist after 10 seconds though, as there is just too much that can transpire within 10 seconds. When me and my two buddies play ranked (rarely), we stick together and team-shot as much as possible. We don't really care who gets the kill, because we are all putting shots on everyone, and get RP anyway. Back before they awarded RP for assists though... Lmfao
