I think the server tickrate needs to be adressed. Right now its total disaster and after lvl 138 im still enjoying battlefiled more and i started playing overwatch and cs:go more, because they dont cheap out on their players. The idea that a person with a * pc would be able to enjoy the game is nonsence. Faceit exists only because 120 tickrate and it doesnt have platform with all the microtransactions. So you guys cheaped out on us and hate us for playing your game, i wont tolerate that. Also the sound is still broken because the tickrate was so bad. Dropship had this problem but you hacked it instead of adressing the real issue. See you on the next patch, boys.
At least, in the normal games I've played lately I haven't experienced anything as bad, don't know... but then again, why not play ranked? If you play without a pre-made party, you should be paired with people with a similar skill level (and not wanting to quit to avoid penalty and RP loss).
So, basically, what people is asking is to have RANKED WITH RP and RANKED WITHOUT RP? I don't think it's so bad to find better (and worse) players in a random match, it's just casual... go try your best! Anyway, I'll play later just to check how bad Normal mode is...

By no means is casual bad. A bit more grinding I think. I noticed a fair amount of player ids today that I haven't seen before(hk/tw) servers. I guess they've been playing predator matches all along cause they all had their badges. But, since everyone has dropped to 100, they're back into playing casual. They said they enjoy the change cause they have sth else to work towards other than waiting for queues and playing ranked every match..
I think the one reason why some would rather not play ranked is cause some take it a bit too "serious". (Verbal insults and pressure= no fun! ) Which I do understand, because some players see their levels the same as their girl/boy scout badges and pins. Fair enough. Anyways...hope for the best...

Sure, I'm just an average player I think... Gold III (about to go Gold II) but I don't play too much, and not many of my matches are in ranked so I progress slowly.
I'm playing on PC, I don't know if this SBMM issue is different depending on the platform. Yesterday I won a match and finished second on my own (just two of us in the selection screen, my mate got downed later but couldn't recover him).
So, for me normal matches didn't look so bad, but I'll keep an eye on this. I haven't got the impression of being "owned" by elite players everywhere - but that's my experience until now.
Newest patch literally halved my FPS.
Even main screen doesn't go over 30 fps anymore, although it was fine with ~60 before. In-game FPS is even worse and unplayable.
Machine: medium-end laptop with 960M GPU.
@snaucer_bez_rukuthey're not gonna fix it anytime soon. Because some high-end PC players seems got their performance increased. (Although some of high-end users got their FPS [Removed - CM] too.)
So for us poor * people who can't spend thousands of dollars on high-end rig can only wait, or worse, leave this game forever because it's so [Removed - CM] unplayable at this point.
Never been so disappointed with Respawn until now.

Are you using Adaptative V-Sync by any chance? Just read that some users had issues with this option after last patch.
