Community AdminNewest patch literally halved my FPS.
Even main screen doesn't go over 30 fps anymore, although it was fine with ~60 before. In-game FPS is even worse and unplayable.
Machine: medium-end laptop with 960M GPU.
@snaucer_bez_rukuthey're not gonna fix it anytime soon. Because some high-end PC players seems got their performance increased. (Although some of high-end users got their FPS [Removed - CM] too.)
So for us poor * people who can't spend thousands of dollars on high-end rig can only wait, or worse, leave this game forever because it's so [Removed - CM] unplayable at this point.
Never been so disappointed with Respawn until now.

Are you using Adaptative V-Sync by any chance? Just read that some users had issues with this option after last patch.
No.
But tried different styles of v-sync just to make sure, doesn't make a difference.
For example, when selecting legends before the game starts, I get a solid 60 fps for some time (like the first two characters being selected), and then I just start seeing it go down to 30 fps and stays there. And then in-game goes to ~23, especially when the fight starts.
Really surprised by such a huge change, and an unpleasant one.

I have a low-end setup, and the performance getting worse towards my kind of setup. Apex used to run really really well before. But this new map is too heavy and I would love to see kings canyon come back. I'm sure it's the map problem. On my end, not your end.
It's a different case if Apex already too heavy since its launch. So I'm a bit disappointed on how the game runs slightly different now. And I'm not the only one, a lot of people plays on their low-end rig experiencing the same thing. Do your research.

No, trust me, I get it. No need to research about why people are complaining since the obvious is in their post. I guess it's not their intention at the moment to cater to everyone, while at the same time trying to improve their game. Until they fully optimize their game so each and every person out there can fully enjoy it, the best bet is return to Minecraft and wait it out.!
