Difference between duos & trios

Speaking rando squad as far as I’ve seen... MUCH lower (skill) levels and I mean much lower. It seems the average teammates I get are between lvl 10-50... which usually means skill is lower but not ...

Funnily enough I don't like the hemlock, too slow a fire rate for me, or many of the other guns at the moment. I'm not happy and always hunting out a havoc and a sentinel, and there I'm stuck. Had another lovely duos game this evening. My squaddie had 12 kills vs my 4, but mine were very important pivotal kills😃

@OldTreeCreeper I for the longest time hated hemlock... you can check older threads. Hated it with a passion as far as weapons go in apex and ‘hate’ as a form of dislike. I could never handle the burst fire correctly and I’m not the type to practice till perfect if I don’t like something. I do stuff I like or am good at without practice and just get better at it.

That being said, months ago I had an experience with a hemlock. I got killed so fast by it that I couldn’t even fire 5 bullets from my auto prowler. I knew it was a powerful weapon in the right hands but that was just ridiculous. So I tried using the hemlock & sucked so hard that if I had a lollipop in my mouth I would’ve had such a hard suckage that everything within a 5m range would gravitate towards my mouth (lolz didn’t see that one coming did ya XD). But at the same time one of the first ‘favorite loadout’ threads got formed and ppl said hemlock but only in single fire and I was like ‘why would you single fire that weapon?!’ Well I discovered why couple days ago... (not playing apex till at least beginning of S5 btw but) I just had a hemlock and put it in single fire cause that was only other weapon I could find... holy cow... I murdered ppl from afar and close range with it... I was stunned at how good it was... so I decided to use it and now I can say that I found another weapon which I can use instead of running past that weapon even if I needed a (new) weapon xD.

I do one full auto weapon and hemlock for last 3 shots to finish a person off to get mastery lvl with it.

@Koochi-Q Thats a serious suck, there could be money in that you know😃 at the moment its a mental block on the hemlock, but maby in time.
@Pretzelnutcake I think the 2X is on the gold devotion in the care packages. I drop my havoc + 3x in a heartbeat for it esp end game.

@OldTreeCreeper It is... yea, but it would only be on rare occasions that it would work so no go unfortunately... and those cook shows already have so many mouths to feed... >: p

Yea it is on the Devotion and it’s so satisfying that they put my bruiser on a carepackage weapon. Almost every time I see a devotion I take it :P

@Koochi-Q "Almost"??????? I was bereft when my devotion left normal play, if i see it I take it! 😃 such a satisfying gun to let loose.
Tried the single shot with the hemlock this evening and yes I can see its potential, but I'll have to get much better at the weapon switch.

@OldTreeCreeper I prefered the havoc over the Devotion before them implemented the changes. Devotion would only be good in my hands when I had all the attachments :P

Told you! I dont steer you wrong. Just put on a Bruiser or the Ranger and fire from 50-100m with alot of accuracy or use it as a secondary with those sights when you left your target bleeding with no armor.

@Koochi-Q I like to have a short range weapon and a sniper and loved the devotion for up close work. Then moved to the Lstar then the havoc, but now I'm caught betweem the two as something has changed with the Lstar in the last short while. Im not sure I'm willing to give up either for a hemlock just yet.

@OldTreeCreeper I dont have a set loadout. I have several weapons I like and usually stick with whatever weapon I like I find early game :P I’m such a stickler :P

So when I discovered this combo, I did Prowler + Hemlock... (always my best weapon of course... this time with experiment weapon) and was burning through ammo so quickly that for the remainder of the match I had to keep pinging ‘need heavy’ and after every battle I had like 1 clip left and hoping for more :P downside of using same weapon ammo weapons... but the shredness of that combo is too good.

Havoc is a good one... Lstar... not so much (for me)

@Koochi-Q I do tend to run out of ammo with the Lstar😃 not so much the havoc.
The single shot hemlock strikes me as a good, very early game weapon (much like the pistol in fortnite). Fires as fast as you can press the button, accurate and with low recoil, only issue with both of these for me is clip size.
Ps I dont like the prowler either 😛

@Koochi-Q I have a love hate relationship with the hemlock but prefer it burst mode in CQC and single fire for range. I often prefer the longbow or triple take. I’m decent at landing headshots with them, it's kind of hard to pass a weapon that can do 120 damage with a single bullet. So I want something really good for CQC. The hemlock strong area for me has always been that place that’s between medium range and CQC. Just far enough to make using a prowler/99 difficult but not far enough to justify a G7 or sniper.

@DarthValtrex I can definitely understand that. I’m fairly accurate in most games if the tps (tap per shot) isn’t too high or too low. For example, the tps for the G7 feels too slow for me and due to my inaccuracy I miss shots because I want to lead my shots but when the time comes to shoot I already want to shoot again but cant. That being said the p2020 has such a high tps that I tend to go berserk and either under or overaim because I’m tapping so much XD. This gun feels just right (at the moment at least) so I can use it fairly accurate at both long & short ranges.
