I had to start a discussion here about those fascinating buddies introduced in the Apex Legends & Final Fantasy VII Rebirth event: the SOLDIER Nessies!

At this point, you all probably know how to summon them using the red materia hop-up, but if you are new to the event and need some guidance, just comment below and we can show you how easy it is. 

It's not hard to see why they're so fascinating! These cute little greenies are not just awesome companions, but a stalwart ally on the arena. It follows you around and ferociously attacks enemies on sight, giving you a slight advantage during fights. The Nessie's aggressive nature can be a game-changer, turning the tide in your favour during tight battles. 

But the features of Soldier Nessie don't stop at offense. We can pet them to heal, and their unique healing mechanic adds a whole new layer of strategy to the game. After petting Nessie, it emits a heart-shaped puff of smoke. 💖Not only is this incredibly charming, but it can be a lifesaver in sticky situations where health resources are scarce.

    Not that I'm gonna play this mode ever again, but how do you kill them? Made the mistake of playing this and I got hard chased by Nessie but no matter how much I shot at it, it just continued hard chasing me. 🤨

    If you shot it and hit it and it did not die it was yours or a teammates Nessie, More than likely yours due to the hard follow.

    I've a question.

    My nessie soldier made the ko (last hit the enemy i was shooting) i confirmed him but i didn't receive the kill. I don't understand why

    I was killed by one right after winning a very rough 1v3 scenario, and I couldn't even get mad. Nessie is Nessie <3

    I actually had two Nessies once wasn't sure if it would happen but it did. A team could have a 6 nessie army!!!

    it make me laugh that when you're knocked the nessie still spawn , got saved countless times by nessie saving me just before i die or if i get exec.
    it's also a great rat hunter for end zone.
    ngl it's one of the event i had the more fun.
