- BaldWraithSimp6 years agoNot applicable@shawnbarry13 Yup, same speed. If you are on PC, you can enable advanced launch options to check the speed of your character. Command is cl_showpos1. And why would they change the running speed after 1 year?

@shawnbarry13Yes they all run the same speed. The taller ones feel slower but have longer strides.
When you are being shot, some are faster. Bangalore passive makes her faster. Caustic is not slowed by bullets.
- Koochi-Q6 years agoNot applicable@hayhor Wait what? This is new to me. Caustic isn’t slowed? Why not ;0
- BaldWraithSimp6 years agoNot applicable@Koochi-Q: Why not?
Fortified: Let us introduce ourselves - Koochi-Q6 years agoNot applicable@BaldWraithSimp So same is applied for Tankboy McDoubleShield? Nice... time to abuse the system... ;D

@Koochi-QSame xD I didn't realise he wasn't slowed lmao.
@shawnbarry13 Some developer said (somewhere on twitter I believe) that there's just a different speed for the animations that's why some seem to run slowed although thinking about stride length it makes sense. - MandatoryIDtag6 years agoNot applicable
Yeah it's partly the movement animation and partly the way the players themselves move that caused this different move speed myth.
For example i'm moving at exactly the same base run speed as random teammates, but i can easily overtake or catch them up simply because i'm constantly using slide jumps on every decline in the terrain,no matter how small....Whereas rando is just sprinting along normally. So he's probably gonna be oblivious to this technique and wondering why i'm so much quicker lol.
