I know it's frustrating to have cheaters, but some of the suggestions are just ludicrous. Jail time? Are you serious? Can't buy a new PC? Are you serious or high as a kite?

It just isn't worth it to publishers/devs to crack down on it too hard. The lifecycle of a game isn't going to be that much longer with a big cheater crackdown than it already is, is the way I figure it. If there was huge money being lost, you'd see a crackdown. As it is, they milk their cash cow for a while and then move on.

The Jail Time should be for the developers, not end-users.

You don't know, or can say how long a so called Life Cycle is going to be.

Counter Strike has been around and still going strong 20 years later!

There's no telling how long Apex will be around, there's also no telling what the developers may do to the game in several years, that could also create turning points to keep things going.

Truth is, no one has a Crystal Ball and can read the future!
