Energy guns loot
Is it just me or I’ve been seeing a lot of energy guns and ammo this season compared to the other gun/ammo types? I think they’re pushing us to use the energy guns more.

Same observation. They are everywhere, with tons of ammo.

Could it be related to the fact that the devo and lstar are ground loot and they are both LMGs? Spitfire is light now and the rpage is care package only.
Could it be the balancing for the excessive ammo they require?
Pair that with triple take, volt and Havoc all needing their own ammo too it kinda makes sense. - @Cheese9Man
I'm not sure I've played enough matches this season to say with certainty, but if so then this is definitely a carry over from previous seasons. There are always specific weapons which are readily available and others you see only rarely. This season seems to be heavy on Alternator, Volt, Flatline, and Hemlock. And, as per the last few seasons, you can always find a 30-30, a Sentinel, or a Longbow, but just try to find a Charge Rifle or Triple Take. I dare you. On the upside, scopes seem to be less difficult to find, but that may well be perception rather than pattern. I'll know more in the next few days. @DethMetalMilkMan Most likely excessive ammo balance, several seasons back when devotion was put back on the ground, devs danced around Havoc going in care package, resulting in 4 full auto guns being used at once by player base "also birthed short meta of volt x devotion" and energy ammo being scarce - non existent in matches. Problem was fixed overtime when they simply lowered use of atleast 1 "lowered devotion spawn, devotion in craft , volt package, etc.". Devo. and L star are both niche on their own "most people view devo and havoc only good with hop up and L star isn't popular in general".
- @reconzero I've seen more triple takes in the last two days than you can shake a stick at! At almost every drop I've found multiple TT's, volts, and Lstars.
- @Cheese9Man I see energy ammo, the volt, car and alternator the most, there also seems to be very little shotgun ammo/guns.

- @reconzero I see plenty of energy ammo, Volts, Havocs, and L-Stars, but like you Triple Takes (marksmen IN GENERAL really) just don't exist for me.
I'll still take a Havoc over an L-Star though. - @Cheese9Man Finally got some matches in yesterday, and I was thinking the same thing as I was running around. L-star/Volt/TT/Havoc all over the dang place
