No. Revenant doesn't need a nerf.
Horizon's passive is worse than Revenant's? It's her second best ability and her worst ability is one of the most meta ultimates right now.
Really interested if people will still use the octane-rev combo in Olympus since it’s a bigger map.
Am i the only one not bothered at all?
I mean passive aggressive try hards waiting to third party always was like 80% of the playerbase. And the fact you fight a team twice isn't new either because mobile characters with get out of jail free cards were meta for well over a year. Maybe its time to buff the defense Legends because they can actually do something about third parties, and also counter Rev as his silence won't get rid of placed equipment.
15 sec Wattson tactical cooldown when?
Bear Trap Legend when?
- @CompleatBeet I don't think her passive makes that much of a difference to me.
@CompleatBeetHe doesn't need a big nerf.
He needs a rework. His kit is an unbalanceable one. His ult provides him an extremely obnoxious, cheap, unfitting immortality, and his tac is a silence. Silences like that are either terrible or completely broken. He's not good at all, he's annoying. I used to main sombra on OW and the amount of keyboards smashed because of my mindless activity were many. Revenant is deeply antifun, and when paired with an Octane, is just an awful experience for everyone.
The tactic can't secure a win at all. It just secures KP before you eventually, pathetically, die. If you make him usable or a frequent flyer in lobbies and not an odd hero like Rampart, the game becomes miserable.Revenant suffers from the same problem that Fuse does. Fuse can't really be balanced because his whole gimmick is one hit AoE spam, spam in general, and area denial. I want to see the lesser heroes shine but some are either 100 or 0.
I guess people in this thread are correct that people are using the Octane-Rev combo because of the map since KC is a smaller map where you can 3rd party much easier and because of charge towers. I see a lot less of it now in Olympus and they're usually not as effective as last split. And of course, every team still has a Horizon.
He really doesn't need a rework or big nerf.
Revenant is supposed to be frustrating, and that doesn't make him overpowered at all.
His Passive is underwhelming.
His Tactical is really strong but it's nowhere near as OP as a Sombra hack because fights with silenced enemies still rely on skill. It's not just thrown directly on enemies, you can use it to hold chokepoints or as a smoke. This ability is only at its strongest if you're communicating with your teammates and calling out your silenced enemies.
His Ultimate is only good if you're in a premade squad because it requires good coordination to actually get value out of.
- @CompleatBeet I'd rather Revenant be a good legend and sufficiently strong, and not obnoxious, than for him to be obnoxious and bad. I'd also rather him be fun to play into, and fun to play.
His passive could be way cooler than it is, there is no reason for him not to have strong mobility in the form of a rapid climb.
That's what I said, his tac HAS its strengths but it's way weaker than other silences in games. Because silences in games are monitor-punchers. I do like the strats that can be done with his silence, e.g. blocking doors or denying areas, or blinding.
I'd like to see his ult get love or something. Not sure how or what it would be. - @1234smile4321 Fuse really suck.
